Collaborating across teams, she will identify needs, develop programs, and ensure staff and volunteer development across the organisation. The role involves creating engaging materials, using innovative methods, and monitoring program effectiveness. Aligned with organisational goals, the Training Manager will foster a culture of learning and inclusion, contributing to a skilled and motivated team dedicated to advancing the Women’s Centre Cornwall’s mission of empowering and supporting women in the community. They are seeking an experienced Service Manager to make the very best use of their resources and ensure the delivery of dynamic, flexible and innovative trauma-informed support services to women and girls who have experienced sexual and/or domestic abuse. The Support Service Manager will be responsible for nurturing the team of Coordinators and Team Leaders to provide innovative and creative approaches to delivering best outcomes for survivors, as well as supporting the team in their own individual and professional development. Responsible for the development of new services as well as embedding best practice across all projects, the role will oversee data collection across the services and contribute to the delivery of TWCC OCN accredited training to staff and volunteer as well as external/partner organisations.

Data and Systems Lead

The Effective Women’s Centre Project drives forwards and embeds a culture of data quality across The Women’s Centre Cornwall. They are looking for and experienced Data and Systems Lead to work with Managers to improve their data collection and reporting from their case management systems. The successful candidate will provide meaningful and accessible management information, outcomes monitoring, and performance reports; while supporting their Monitoring, Impact & Evaluation Manager to develop ways for them to demonstrate their impact and share stories of change. She will also support their Lived Experience Groups to ensure the experiences of women are at the heart of the organisation and inform their planning and decisions. The Data & Systems Lead will be responsible for continued implementation and project management of the Women’s Risk and Needs Assessment (WRNA) across services. The WRNA is part of the Effective Women’s Centres Project which is designed to improve current understanding of the needs and strengths of women and to consolidate the evidence base for the effectiveness of Women’s Centres.

The right attitude and a willingness to learn are key to becoming an ISVA. Experience of working with victims of sexual violence and other service providers and agencies in a statutory, voluntary, social or community setting would be an advantage although we would be keen to hear from you if you can demonstrate how your skills and experience can be applied to this role. You must have experience of planning and delivering caseloads and strong crisis management skills, with an understanding of the needs of victims experiencing sexual violence. An approved and accredited ISVA qualification is preferable for this post although candidates with the right approach and a willingness work towards ISVA accreditation will also be considered.

The purpose of this role is to conduct clinical assessments with adult survivors of sexual or domestic abuse of all genders who are seeking therapeutic support, including risk assessment and smooth internal and external referral to appropriate support services. To manage the waiting lists for therapeutic services, appropriately allocate survivors to workers and coordinate the delivery of telephone emotional support calls. In addition, the postholder will support the Therapeutic team in the ongoing training and development of volunteers.

First Contact Navigator

They are looking for a First Contact Navigator to work in their Navigator team supporting individuals who have or are experiencing sexual violence and or sexual abuse. As a first contact worker, you will act as a gateway to both specialist counselling and advocacy services and additional specialist support services in Essex. You will use your considerable experience to provide a high-quality telephone information and support service. The support you deliver will help individuals on their pathway to wellbeing, recovery, and social inclusion through building trusting and collaborative relationships. You will guide users to make informed decisions about their own wellbeing, maximising their independence and engaging in appropriate community or clinical resources/interventions. You will work within a team of first contact navigators under the supervision of a service lead. You will be highly motivated and dedicated, have strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision.

The role includes wider responsibilities as a member of CARA’s staff team including acting as point of contact for sessional counsellors and activities to raise awareness of the impact of sexual violence amongst agencies and the wider community.
