| We offer a confidential telephone service of support and information to survivors of rape, childhood sexual abuse and other forms of sexual violence. Our volunteers will listen to what you have to say and help you to find ways to express difficult feeling and situations. We do not make judgements about the women who use our service nor do we tell them what to do. We aim to give women a space to talk about their own issues at their own pace. We do not currently have facilities to offer face-to-face meetings although this is something that we hope to offer in the future. |
| We offer extensive volunteer training at least twice a year, and do outreach work to local GUM clinics, the police, counselling services, universities etc. We are part of the Cambridge women’s coalition. |

RASA offers free and confidential counselling, advocacy and support in a women only environment, to female Survivors of Sexual Violence. Whether it happened recently or years ago, RASA women will listen without judging, support without pressuring and work with the survivor to empower her to take back the control she lost when she was violated.
Operating from a Safe House in Birkenhead, RASA works across Wirral, Liverpool, Sefton and Knowsley, using suitable and appropriate space in other agencies. All our counsellors and support workers have followed extensive RASA training before they begin working with survivors.
RASA – here to listen.
