Counselling, advocacy, helpline and email support offered to women affected by sexual assault, rape and child abuse recently or in the past. Partners, friends and relatives are also given support. Counselling and support given to mothers of abused children.
The advocacy service will assist you in accessing the legal system or any other services you need.
The counselling service deals with thoughts and feelings and assists you in moving on.
If you are interested in volunteering with us and live locally please contact us. Volunteer counsellors and support volunteers are recruited as needed.

We offer a confidential non directive listening service via our telephone helpline to females of any age who have experienced sexual abuse; rape; domestic violence or harassment.
We provide help and support for those supporting a survivor (the caller can be male or female). |
We provide information about other resources, including local solicitors, counsellors and health practitioners experienced in working with survivors.
We are happy to consider requests to provide training to other agencies or awareness raising talks. |

| We provide a range of advice, information and counselling services for people who have experienced rape of sexual abuse. Our services include a telephone helpline for anyone who has concerns relating to an unwanted sexual experience; face to face counselling for young people aged 12 and over, and adults; Therapy group for adult women who have experienced sexual abuse in childhood; short term (6 weeks) Family therapy; Independent Sexual Violence Advisor; Star Project educational and outreach. |

All face to face counselling clients are given the opportunity to express their counsellor’s gender preference, and we comply with their wishes.
The majority of helpline time is staffed by female counsellors.
We offer training on issues relating to sexual assault, both in house and out.

| We offer a confidential telephone service of support and information to survivors of rape, childhood sexual abuse and other forms of sexual violence. Our volunteers will listen to what you have to say and help you to find ways to express difficult feeling and situations. We do not make judgements about the women who use our service nor do we tell them what to do. We also offer a free face to face counselling service based in Canterbury, and facilitate a survivor’s support group. We can provide training, presentations and workshops, on issues of sexual violence, to volunteers, schools and other agencies |
