ADVOCACY – Our Independent Sexual Violence Advisor is available on weekdays to give information, advice, and support about reporting to the police and the Criminal Justice System procedures up to and including a trial.
COUNSELLING : Monday to Friday for female survivors over 14 who have been raped or suffered from childhood sexual abuse and live or work in London, West Kent, North Surrey.

Trauma Counselling & Group Therapy: Monday mornings - Open to clients who have completed therapy.
EXTERNAL TRAINING: On demand. Awareness training given to other professionals, challenging the myths around rape and childhood sexual abuse, the effects of sexual violence and optimum support methods for survivors.
TRAINING: In house accredited training (OCN) on the effects of rape and childhood sexual abuse. Volunteers recruited twice a year.

ADVICE SERVICE: provides information and advice to women over 16 years who have experienced recent or historic rape and/or sexual assault either from a partner, ex partner, family member, acquaintance or stranger. Includes adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Advice on personal safety including injunctions, reporting to the police, getting help from the Havens (Sexual Assault Referral Centres), child contact, divorce, housing including emergency accommodation, no recourse to public funds and welfare benefits. Referrals to specialist services for debt, counselling, immigration, sexual health, substance misuse. Language Line available. Calls using Text Relay welcomed. Interpreters, including BSL, provided for face to face meetings.
ADVOCACY: the Evolve service provides Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocacy to women over 16 years in Camden and Islington. The service is available on weekdays to give information, advice, and support about reporting to the police and the Criminal Justice System up to and including a trial as well as practical support as per the Advice Service.
COUNSELLING: one to one and group counselling for women over 16 years who have been raped or experienced childhood sexual abuse. Up to 26 individual sessions are available. Group counselling includes an ongoing support group and confidence building. All counselling is person centred.

Domestic and sexual advocacy service to men available from separate location.
Solace offers safe accommodation in our refuges including specialist accommodation for Irish and Traveller women and support for women with substance misuse issues to access emergency accommodation. Our community services include specialist services for survivors of domestic violence who want to live independently; women over 55 years; Irish and Traveller women; Somali women and South Asian women. Our services for children and young people include therapeutic arts. We have a family law legal service. |

Information & Referral Line: provides information and advice over the telephone to women and agencies working with women who have experienced recent or historic rape and/or sexual assault. Signposting to relevant services such at the Havens, Independent Sexual Violence Advocates. Advice on reporting to the police and legal issues such as obtaining emergency injunctions and how to access legal advice for immigration, child contact etc. Advice on accessing emergency accommodation, both at the nia project’s 6 refuges (one of which is a specialist substance use refuge) and other refuges nationwide via Refuges online. Advice on no recourse to public funds.

Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy service, including sexual violence: advice, practical support, advocacy and referral to women over 16 years in Hackney and Haringey.
Children and Young People:
Young People’s Sexual Exploitation Worker, Young People Sexual Bullying Worker, Safe Choices Project:* working with young women at risk of sexual violence through actual or potential participation in gangs. One to one and group working in Hackney, Haringey, Geenwich, Lewisham and Islington.
Play Therapy: one to one therapy for children aged between 3 and 16 from any London Borough who has experienced the impact of violence
Counselling: for service users of the nia project in association with Women and Girls Network- 15 sessions of one to one counselling.
